STEVEN R. KARTZINEL

Steven R. Kartzinel joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly as an Associate in March 2025 after ten years working as in-house staff counsel litigating insurance defense matters from inception through trial. He handles the defense of automobile liability personal injury negligence claims.

Mr. Kartzinel is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta where he received his Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Business. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Touro Law School. He is admitted to practice law in the Courts of the State of New York, the Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He completed the NITA trial advocacy program at Hofstra University.

Outside of legal practice, Mr. Kartzinel enjoys spending time with family, the outdoors, sports and music.
