BRIAN L. SMITH

Brian L. Smith joined Kelly Rode and Kelly LLP in September 2019 after working for 36 years as an attorney for a major insurance carrier. Mr. Smith has developed an expertise in handling UIM-SUM matters and has handled numerous AAA arbitration hearings and framed issue hearings in the Supreme Court. He additionally handles general practice liability in connection with automobile accidents and premises liability matters.

Brian is a graduate of the John Marshall Law School and formerly practiced as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County. He is a member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations.

Outside of work, Brian is an avid swimmer who plays basketball on the weekends; also enjoys reading and traveling.
