Mike Theodorou joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP as an associate in 2023. Mr. Theodorou primarily handles cases in the firm’s automobile insurance liability practice. Mr. Theodorou obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from St. John’s University in 1993, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Vermont Law School in 1997. He was admitted to practice in New York in 1998 and in Federal Court (EDNY) in 2003. Prior to joining Kelly, Rode & Kelly, Mr. Theodorou worked as a criminal defense attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County where he handled court appearances, hearings and trials. Later, Mr. Theodorou transitioned into civil practice where he handled a wide range of high-priority no-fault insurance cases from commencement to trial and appeal. Later, Mr. Theodorou shifted his practice and has been handling personal injury defense cases since 2010. Outside of his professional legal practice, Mr. Theodorou enjoys biking, music, photography, playing drums, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
