MARIE A. FORLENZA

Marie Forlenza joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly in 2024. She is currently responsible for handling Automobile Defense cases.

Marie graduated with a B.A. in Science, Letters & Society from C.U.N.Y.’s College of Staten Island in 1989. She returned to C.S.I. to earn her M.A. in Liberal Studies in 1998. In 2017, with the all-embracing support and encouragement of her family and friends, Marie entered law school to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an attorney. She attended Touro University’s Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, attaining her Juris Doctorate in 2020, and was admitted to the New York State bar in July of 2024.

Marie has a background in a variety of fields, including five years each in healthcare, as a Pharmacy Technician; in hospital Medical Records correspondence; and in International Banking. These formative roles were followed by over twenty-five years in education, where she taught children of every age, and instructed adults obtaining their Associate’s Degrees.

While Marie is proud of her academic achievements, she is prouder still of her accomplishments in life. She served as a strong, loving and reliable support system for her family as they pursued their own endeavors. Alongside her husband of over 30 years, she raised three college graduates, one of whom went on to earn a J.D., while the others are engaged in highly successful civil service careers.

Throughout her life, Marie has shown resiliency and the ability to take on new challenges. She enthusiastically takes on her latest role of attorney, and looks forward to successfully serving clients as an associate of Kelly, Rode & Kelly.
