Peter D. Garone joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP as an associate in 2009 and became a partner in 2017. Mr. Garone litigates cases spanning the range of personal injury and insurance defense litigation, with particular emphasis on motor vehicle and premises liability and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims.
Mr. Garone graduated from Amityville High School on Long Island. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976 and his Juris Doctorate degree from St. John's University School of Law in 1981. Mr. Garone was admitted to the New York State bar in 1982 and is admitted in the Eastern and Southern Districts of the Federal District Court in New York.
Mr. Garone worked at several tort defense firms before joining the firm of Martin, Fallon & Mulle, Esqs., where he became a senior litigator, handling all aspects of cases from inception through appeal, from 1984-2009, at which time he joined the firm of Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP.
Mr. Garone is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers' Association.
